MUSIC CREDENTIALS: University of South Carolina (Columbia, South Carolina, USA) Bachelor of Arts, 1975; sang/studied conducting with Zoltan Kodaly-protégé, Arpad Darazs. Professional pianist/singer since 1973. Changing addresses many times as a naval officer for 26 years, sang in 10 church choirs; performed in/directed numerous community theatre musicals. Currently employed as Music Director, Traditional Chapel, (U.S. Air Force) Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan. ADDITIONAL: Member, American Society of Composers, Arrangers and Performers (ASCAP) and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). Graduate education: Master of Science degree from Memphis State University, Memphis, Tennessee, USA, 1990; Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island, USA, 1998. Retired from the U.S. Navy in 2004 with the rank of Captain (O-6). In 2010, earned One Million Lifetime Achievement award as an Herbalife Independent Distributor and trained wellness coach (see website).
