Jim Shaw

I have a Master's degree in Composition from Catholic University in Washington,D.C.(1974) I have been writing music for film,TV,churches and schools for the past 30 years. I am currently a music teacher in Columbus, Ohio and have recently organized a composer's group that includes adults and students in my school district.Our goal is to create a recording space at my school and to create a web site where our composition can be heard locally.I believe composition is essential in music education.
