Mr. Patrick Glenn Harper
I am currently a high school band director in the Huntsville, Alabama area. I am a graduate of the University of North Alabama, where I earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Music Education. I have always loved music and have been composing since I was 10. (Many thanks to my piano teacher, who encouraged my composition instead of making me concentrate only on the method books.) Two of my works for percussion ensemble have been published by Hamar Percussion Publications, and I have been hired to do composition work for various multimedia endeavors. Much of what you will find on this site was written for my students. If you download any of my music and end up performing it, let me know.
