I discovered the folk harp as an adult. Though I was a classically trained pianist and flutist, it was the harp that inspired me to compose, almost as though there was music inside the harp just waiting to come out.
Four local arts council grants have supported my composition and publishing efforts, and led to an opportunity to study with Janet Harbison in Castleconnell, Ireland. A graduate of the Music for Healing & Transition Program, I am a Certified Music Practitioner currently contracted to provide therapeutic harp music for hospice patients.
