I was born in Belfast, but I now live in Devon in the South West of England. I am primarily a woodwind player but will have a go at most things. My CV includes a First Class degree in music, a post-graduate certificate in Music Education, many years of top level performing across the country in many different genres, and many years of experience as an instrumental teacher here in Devon.

I believe variety is the spice of life in music, so I will play in any group/ensemble/situatiom where I feel I have a creative input.

Most of the compositions that I have uploaded here are pieces I have put together for various school ensembles. Commercially available scores tend to be pretty inflexible and very expensive, so I always arrange or compose my own. It also allows me to set the difficulty according to the players I have available. Everything is designed to be flexible.
