Douglas Barbiero

Doug is a Music Ed Major that currently teaches in Newark, NJ. He teaches k-8th grade general music and chorus. He received his degree from Monmouth College, (now Monmouth University) in NJ. Doug also attended Rutgers University and The Juilliard School in NY, NY. He has been teaching over 20 years, winning awards for innovative programs as well as service awards.

Doug also writes original music and arranges music in a variety of styles. He arranges music for singers, bands of all types, and orchestras. He currently works with America's Tenor, Mr. Dominic Mantuano, and arranges all his music for orchestra and small ensembles. Styles include Broadway, Opera, Pop, etc.

Doug also plays keyboards for Mr. Mantuano as well as for other artists. Doug has a background playing music from the classical era right up to the present.
