Geoff Walker
My latest commission for the Absolute Zero Viola Quartet ("Paganini Fireworks") which was premiered by a professional group in South America has now received its first UK performace. "Sprites", for flute quartet, and "Distant Stars", for flute choir, have been accepted for publication by June Emerson Wind Music and "Winter Music", also for flute choir, has received its first performance.
Various people and organisations ask me to write music for them, so I have set up a new website to help streamline the process. I am particularly interested in writing for unusual instrumental combinations and will not usually charge amateur groups a fee for composing a piece which will receive a public performance.
