My writing career spans 15 years. It began at age 40. After 10 years I had written 3000 poems. So I decided to try my hand at music (from my rock n roll past). My first piece was an 8-part choral arrangement of a hymn. I simply wanted to know if I could do it or not. In the last 5 years I've written 300 original compositions: string, vocal, orchestra, pop, worship, .. And now I'm "Mr. Staccato" - go figure!

I work for a telecom at night, care for a spouse with a catastrophic illness during the day, and write on the side. Life is hard. Big deal! It's hard for everybody. That doesn't mean we can't write great music. JUST DO IT!
