Jordi Ortega

I was born in Valencia. I started playing the tuba when I was 15. I am finishing the high grade in the Music School of Valencia. Since 2012 I am tuba soloist with the World Youth Orchestra, and I've also played with the youth orchestra of Catalonia and the Young Valence Band. Since 2014 I collaborate with the National Orchestra of Spain.

I started to make arrangements and transcriptions for my Brass Quartet, with whom I make tours throughout Spain. Then I continued making arrangements for all kinds of ensembles. Besides, I've transcribed works for string quartet, band, orchestra, piano and choir.
