This piece (originally written for two trumpets, three horns and a euphonium) was composed and premiered during the visit of the Worcestershire Youth Wind Orchestra to the prestigious Banff International Festival, as a celebration of just what a good time some of the brass players were having. Three years later, I’ve finally got around to re-arranging it for brass quintet. Note the two melodic quotes: ’Rule, Britannia!’ at letter A, and the Canadian national anthem at letter C (cues are provided should the hornist not be in a very patriotic mood…!). I hope you enjoy it - we certainly did!
UPDATE: Brass band parts (Horn in Eb, treble clef Trombone in Bb, and treble clef Tuba in Eb) are now also available.
