A late-Elizabethan verse-anthem for SA soli, SAATB chorus and organ by the early-17th-century composer John Holmes (d.1629), reconstructed from the organ score by Ian Payne. It was composed on 25 October 1602, while he was organist at Winchester Cathedral, and reflects the simple style of the metrical psalm from one of which (Psalm 133) it takes its text.
