This short fanfare prepares us for the exciting build-up to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Unexpected chord progressions symbolise the meeting of nations and repetitive, echoing figures represent striving before the triumphant conclusion, proudly portraying unity and victory. Both composer and arranger, who have collaborated over the years, have Score Exchange Stores which may be accessed through Score Exchange’s home page. The band parts are in A5 landsacpe format so may be used indoors as they stand or be cropped for march-card use outside.
