You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Some of the first musical sounds I can remember came from a big, mechanical music box - a calliope - built right into the center of a lovely carousel at at nearby amusement park. -Calliope is a four movement piece with descriptive titles recalling some of the images the carousel/calliope suggested to me as a child. -The first performance of Calliope took place in New York (see review NY Times 1/4/03). -NB There is also a version of Calliope for saxophone quartet. The MP3 is a performance of the first movement played by a saxophone quartet.
