I have arranged this for three alto clarinets. I have transcribed the parts into concert pitch Eb, so the altos are playing in C, the same as the original basset horns. I have provided an alternative bass clarinet part for the 3rd part as the alto does npt have the downward range (to bottom C) of the basset horn. I have taken some liberties in the 3rd alto part, transposing up an octave where necessary, but avoiding any "clash" with the two upper instruments.s
