An English adaptation of the traditional Credo I gregorian melody. (………not that many places ever sing the Creed, however!) I have tried to follow as closely as possible the original tune whilst being flexible enough to adapt to the rhythms and nuances of the english text. The accompaniment stays generally within the mode, but with the occasional bending of the mode through chromaticism to highlight significant moments in the text.
