When I was a Student Bandmaster at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall, and a member of the Ralph Vaughan Williams Ministry of Defence Class of 1988, we always sung the grace before dinner nights, in a beautiful setting by the late Gordon Reynolds, also based on this melody.
The keyboard part is to aid rehearsal if required.

While a member of the R.V. Williams Class, I had the honour to be awarded the Commandant's First prize for the ''Best Quick March'' of the 1988 R.V.Williams Class. The grand prize of £10.00, was awarded by Ursula Vaughan Williams, the widow of Ralph.
The march entitled ''Class of 88'', will be posted on the site after Xmas, and is now the official march of the ''Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary''.
