A soul had previously experience for the first time a real deep love and sweetness of God whether it was for a short or a long duration. A honeymoon took place on this very first experience. Then the dark night comes and the same soul groans and yearns for another experience of the love of God in order to grow some more spiritually in holiness. This song is a prayer for such a soul.
