Entrada is an extended version of a piece originally written for brass quartet. After a fast introduction and first theme there is a slower middle section with solos for solo cornet and euphonium. The main theme then returns leading to a strong ending. It is more challenging than my other pieces on this site but it should still be playable by students of grade 6 standard. There is now a version of Entrada for brass quintet. Parts for F horn and trombone, euphonium, baritone & tuba parts in bass clef are now available for this work.
