With The Lone Ar-ranger!, I made a version for Bassoon Quartet, at the request of an ensemble, here in the UK.
A short while back, I was contacted by American bassoonist and teacher, T D Ellis, who also owns a large Music Store in Old Greenwich, Connecticut - The Music Source - see picture above.
T.D. is especially interested in music for the bassoon, of course, and also runs a Music Publishing Business. When I checked with my various versions of Samba..alla Turca!, I noticed that I hadn’t made a similar version for bassoons - so, here it is!
T.D. is now also going to publish this one, in due course!

N.B. In the present economic climate, a good number of smaller ensembles understandably buy just the set of parts as, in reality, these alone are all that is needed in performance. Equally, a similar number buy both the parts and the full score. To compensate for this, I intend to reduce the cost of the full score by $4, and increase the price of the lead part by $3, a differential that wasn't available to sellers at the former SibeliusMusic.com.
