"March of the Technocrats" is a driving piece for a jazz ensemble. It is purposefully scored with lots of repetitive percussion, so that it can be played by the Mighty Special Music Makers, which you can read about at www.msmm.org/ This unique ensemble, conducted by Paula Moore, consists of mentally impaired and non-impaired musicians. The ensemble plays a wide repertoire of music including classical, jazz, Broadway, folk, and light. All band members learn to play professional percussion, tonal instruments, and a collection of folk instruments from around the world.
