You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.This song was comissioned by a friend and fellow drama student for a production of She Stoops to Conquer many years ago. She wanted Tony Lumpkin to sing, not recite, the poem eulogising the Three Jolly Pigeons and could not find a tune in print. The brief was for limited range as the young man playing Tony was not a confident singer, so I came up with this number(as an unaccompanied song, the accompaniment came much later).
The range is D-D, which means pretty much any voice could sing it, but I have enabled transposition in this version as there is no fiddle part.The fiddle solo has been incorporated into the piano part.
