This was a request from a couple of my young guitar students who enjoyed the tune in the context of Christian worship and wanted to play it to the congregation. I don’t know the words of At Eastertide, but I made the arrangement of the tune suitable for grade 1 guitar.

The original Streets of Laredo is a traditional cowboy ballad that that been recorded by very many performers. Like many folk songs, the origins are not entirely clear but it seems to be descended from an Irish folk song of the late 18th century called "The Unfortunate Rake".

Like all my arrangements, I have tried to make an easily readable score. The notation part has note name noteheads to make it easy for beginners to read. There are separate TAB and notation parts too…
