I wrote this arrangement for the traditional "Lichtersingen" at Hardegsen near Goettingen, commissioned by Gerhard Ropeter. The seven verses of this ancient christmas song were all arranged in a different manner. Soprano and alto were sung separately by the childrens´ choir. For the adults´ choir the two male voices were added. There is also an easy organ part and easy string parts, including an ostinato. If you want to use those parts please write an e-mail.
