These eight waltzes, originally for piano, consist of the 6 Favorit-Walzer der Kaiserin Frankreich Marie Louise and the first two of the Max-Walzer. All are in the original keys, except for no 7 (Max-Walzer no 1), which I have transposed from Eb to F. I have elaborated the underparts and shared the melodies around to keep everyone busy; and this in turn has meant the disappearance in places of the um-pa-pa piano left hand part. Nevertheless, I hope that these arrangements retain the Tyrolean naivety characteristic of the early waltz.
