This arrangement utilizes the standard orchestral reduction for organ that appears in several editions. The first trumpet part for D trumpet is the part that appears in Handel's orchestral score and can be used alone with organ. To it however I added parts for second trumpet and two trombones – again the writing is all Handel. In a church situation where you already have Brass quartet for Easter Sunday, for example, this is a great way to use them effectively on one of the great master choruses of all time!
