This draft was finished on the first day of December 2007, but I was planning on finishing it by Christmas time. (I'm still in the process of getting someone from my school band to look over the score.) This piece was inspired by Felix Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor (particularly the third movement), not that my piece actually has any melodies from his concerto. This piece is harder than it actually sounds, so if it is too hard, I suggest that you transpose it to F major. Have fun with this piece!
