This piece was written for my school, and I'm hoping it'll be played at my graduation. It's also for my friend, Sarah.
A few notes on the piece:
1)The dynamic "mff" as in bars 26 and 40 mean that the player should play somewhere between the dynamics "f" and "ff".
2)The "Rit." half way through bar 16 should be a one that doesn't affect the overall tempo of the piece.
3)The drum notation thoughout the whole piece is only a guideline. The player has the right to improvise as he/she wishes.
4)The upright bass can be substituted for a double bass if director wishes.
