The piece is composed for a jazz group featuring the instruments usually found in secondary school bands. It is melodically strong with interesting rhythmic features which hopefully capture the experience of flying an eco-friendly glider. It requires a smooth legato performance in order to reflect the environment in which the glider cuts gracefully through the air. There is an optional vocal part which can be found under, ’Gliding’ (Vocal).
