You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.Joe’s Boogie is just a simple arrangement of a blues in G for a mixed ability group of young guitar players. Joe and I use it for large groups in wider opportunities teaching. The simplest part has only open strings G and D, the most difficult has the melody, it uses the first position notes on treble strings. There is a simple rhythm part on three string chords of G7, C and D7 and a third guitar which uses G on string 3, C and D on string 2. There is also a fairly simple walking bass line and a drum part. This type of boogie in G is more or less traditional amongst guitarists!
