Joseph Bodin de Boismortier (1689-1755) was a French baroque composer. This piece is one of six sonatas Op.51 written for flute and Violin. This combination is very unique and it is remarkable that Violin part contains a lot of double-stops. As a result, playing the Violin part is not so easy. This Sonata No.6 consists of four movements, 1. Andante, 2. Allemanda, Allegro, 3. Aria, Laghetto, 4. Minuetto I, II & III. Simple yet elegant & beautiful.
