A concert suite in four contrasting movements for piccolo, concert, alto and bass flutes. Movements 1 and 3 are dreamlike in character and present little technical difficulty; the second movement, Scherzo, should ideally be played at crotchet 260+; the final movement is a lively jig with a contrasting 4/8 section which is reminiscent of a lively rigadoon.
