This delightful piece was written as a six part vocalise and is pure Delius: melifluous and highly chromatic, romantic without being over sentimental. It is a piece which, in its choral version, has given many choirs (and audiences) much pleasure over the years; hopefully, this arrangement for a clarinet ensemble (4 clarinets in Bb and 2 Bass Clarinets) will give equal enjoyment.
