The second of Haydn’s Opus 11 trios, originally for flute, violin and cello with figured bass. As with no 1, I have largely kept the flute part intact as flute 1 and cello part intact for the bass flute, while adding parts and sharing the violin part out between flutes 2, 3 and the alto (though my practice has been throughout these arrangements to give the bulk of the violin part to flute 2). A charming concert piece in which everyone has some fun.
