Originally written for two violas, two viola da gambas, a cello and violone, it is arranged here for standard String Quartet, with an optional bass part.
Thank you Steven for the review. With regards to your comments about the tempo, I set them to the same speed as the recording I have, namely Reinhard Goebel conducting the Musica Antiqua Koln, Archiv 3D Baroque CD 431 702-2. And like you say, if you think the tempo is too fast you can always manually override it yourself :-)
