Mozart’s 12 Variations for violin and piano were composed at Vienna in June 1781. The present arrangement for Flute Choir was prompted by an earlier request that I arrange the piece for upper flutes. As it now stands, it makes a fine concert item, with the violin and piano parts shared between all the voices.
