There are several arrangements of this already on sibeliusmusic.com, but here's mine, based on the Ravel orchestration, and as played recently by the wind band I play with (see www.harmonie.org.uk).

The Promenade is the first movement of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition suite, written in commemoration of his friend, artist and architect Viktor Hartmann. Pictures at an Exhibition, represents a musical tour around the collection. The Promenade apprears at the beginning of the suite, with several variations in different moods in between some of the other movements representing the viewer walking from one picture to the next.
