A verse-anthem for SAT soli, SAATB chorus and organ by the early-17th-century composer John Holmes (d.1629), reconstructed from the organ scores by Ian Payne. It contains some particularly attractive solos for the tenor, and was probably composed while he was organist of Winchester Cathedral.
