This piece is a musical expression of a rain storm for 6 percussionists. Each player should have a multi-percussion setup with all the instruments they will need close at hand. The accelerando into the faster section is led by Player 6. This is the storm section and contains an improvised solo section. Each player not soloing should play their accompaniment figure and be sure to not overplay the soloist. At the end, it should sound like the storm is breaking up and eventually stops. Repeat this section as needed while each player slowly disintigrates their part by leaving notes out. If player without a conductor, you can either choose ahead of time how many times you will repeat this section, or come up with a visual cue that lets everyone else know when you are going to end.
