It was written using a twelve tone matrix of the notes: F F# Ab C C# G A D Eb E Bb B. The pattern was varied using retrograde and transposition. I did stray from the original form on occasion. A rather dissonant, dramatic effect resulted which mirrored the dissonant discussion, mainly from the republicans, that had been dribbling out of America’s Congress. This was my first attempt at this form of writing. Please listen to the mp3 for better sound quality. Comments are welcome.
