Violoncello 1 from Romanza Andaluza, Op. 22, No. 1 - Cello Quartet
I first arranged Pablo de Sarasate’s "Romanza Andaluza" Op. 22, No. 1 (originally for solo violin with piano accompaniment) for solo violin with string orchestra accompaniment for a concert with the Imperial Valley Symphony in February, 2003, in which Jorge Soto was the violin soloist. Later, I made an arrangement for TWO violins and string orchestra. Later, I set it for string quartet. In this, my most recent arrangement of this piece, I have set it for cello quartet.
