1st Clarinet in Bb part from Fanfare for Diversity

Genre
Modern classical music

Original Program Note:

I've just very recently begun work on this piece for my High School Band. I'm quite satisfied with it until "C", but then the transition to the next part needs work yet. I'm not looking for it to be a very long, or difficult, piece; Just a short piece beginning with a fanfare, wind chorale section, the band entering on a repeat of the chorale, and then a version of the fanfare again. So, I just wanted to share this version of the piece, but in the end I believe the transition to "C" will be different. (Or does it not need to be changed perhaps?). An important part of reading this score is that the cymbals line contains, crash, suspended, wind chimes, and gong markings, so you must read along that line an imagine the different sounds in your head. Please leave a review or send me an email about what you think of it so far. Thanks.

Program Note:

I have to thank Ms. Ljungdahl for her help on this piece. When it was still a work in progress, I had questions that I couldn't answer for myself, and she was a fountain of knowledge for me. So, thanks again. I'm quite satisfied with this piece overall, especially since it is my first attempt at a full band piece. Please review this piece and tell me what you think (positive and negative reviews welcome).

Which method of viewing music should I use?

Score Exchange has two methods to display previews of music: seView which uses regular html and javascipt and the Scorch plug-in from Avid which needs to be downloaded and installed onto your computer. Both have advantages and disadvantages:

seView

seView, is the most compatible option. You should be able to view music on all modern web browsers including most mobile devices. Even if your device does not support javascript you should still be able to preview at least page one of the music.

You do not need to install any additional software to use seView.

Scorch

Scorch is a free plug-in from Avid for displaying and printing music. It can also play the music that you're seeing. As modern web browsers are updated, Scorch is no longer compatible with many browsers. Scorch has never been compatible with mobile devices and some web browsers on Mac computers.

If your web browser does not install Scorch automatically, you can click here to download and install scorch manually.
