A Caim is an ancient Celtic prayer of protection. The person would draw an imaginary circle around the person of issue they were concerned about. They would do so by physically moving the index finger of their right hands in a circular motion as they prayed for protection, healing, or strength. I think that this Enclircling prayer (Caim) would work in either a secular or sacred setting. Celtic music was often sung with the accompanied by the harp, and so my preference would be for a harp to accompany, but it works equally well with a piano.
