I used to play it over and over when I was still negotiating a piano. At first, there were no lyrics, but, man, did it acquire meaning later down the road. In 2007, I arranged this piece as a duet, then scribbled out a few lyrics. A student may find this part hard to relate to, i.e., the underlying joke of the jester, but the teacher understands.
