Violin 11 from Escenas de Ecuador
for 10 or 11 violins
Escenas de Ecuador was composed for Professor Carolyn Huebl’s studio recital, which was a benefit for Camp Hope in Ecuador (http://www.camphopeecuador.org ), and was premiered on April 1, 2012 by Professor Huebl’s students. The work was originally composed for ten violins, with an eleventh part added later; because of this, it may be played with or without the eleventh part, as needed (but no other parts may be omitted). A video of a performance of this may be found at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3tCm6Z_Hic .
