You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.This piece was inspired by chapter 5 of book 3 of Thomas a Kempis’ "The Imitation of Christ". I originally intended to set this text but decided to mix the text with parts of 1st Corinthinans 13. Eventually the bible text took over and I attempted a paraphrase of the whole chapter. (I would still recommend you read the Imitation text by the way.)
The violin and cello parts are really necessary, especially at the end but I have included viola and clarinet alternatives to the cello part to be used as required. I’ve also included a guitar chords part.
