Can supply string parts if required. A reviewer has pointed out that there is not much in the way of embellishment when the first section is repeated. Yes, indeed! I did start to include such but then had a rethink that maybe it is best left to the player to do this. We understand that in the baroque period the practice was to embellish the solo part to a greater or lesser extent. I leave this to the soloists discretion. Do bear in mind though Handel's comment to a soloist after a particularly complex departure from the tune, "welcome back madam!".
