Schutz wrote three Passions, on the texts of the Gospels of St. Luke(1664), St. John(1665), and St. Matthew(1666). This ia an arrangment for trombone quartet of the last two he wrote. They begin "Help us Jesus Christ, Son of God" and "Praise to you, O Christ" The first trombone part is rather high, and it may be advisable to use an alto trombone, and I will include its parts in bass, tenor, and alto clefs, whichever suits one's preference.
