This is a Christmas medley I put together a few years ago for younger bands. There are some range challenges for the trumpets and a fugue in the last section that can be tricky. Otherwise, it is very playable. The tunes are well know but not heard as often as others so the piece makes a nice, playable addition to any Christmas program.

The title will give some idea of the tunes used. It starts with Pat-a-pan which features flute and bass clarinet. From there we move to a chorale setting of Lo, How a Rose is Blooming. The final section starts with The Holly and the Ivy, moves to Blow the Trumpet, Bang the Drum and then combines the two in a closing fugue.

Give it a listen.
