It should not be played to quickly, Joplin was very insistent on this. In fact many of his piano rags had printed at the top of the page "Notice! Don't play this piece fast. It is never right to play 'rag-time' fast. Author". I hope I've given everybody something to do in this arrangement but the trombone part is a particularly good one - I just wish I could play the trombone like I used to. Hope you enjoy - constructive reviews please, if you perform or record could you let me know.
