"KINDERGARTEN CONCERT" is 20 all time hits for the lower grade and pre-school kids. Each tune is fully arranged as a series of stand alone songs meant to be played twice–then stop while the moderator/conductor introduces the next tune. The orchestra plays once alone then the second time the audience sings along. Songs are–This Old Man–-Twinkle Twinkle–Mary Had A Little Lamb–Polly Wolly Doodle–-London Bridge–Lightly Row–Brother John–Old Mac Donald–Ten Little Indians–Baa Baa Black Sheep–Yankee Doodle–Pop Goes The Weasel–Roe Row Row Your Boat–Three Blind Mice–-Mulberry Bush/Wash Our Clothes–Farmer In The Dell–Where Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone–-Hickory Dickory Dock–Jingle Bells–America–––––––––––––––––––––––– This will be a nice daytime program that will help recruit new players for the future More complete directions are included on the left side of this page.

The Heritage Series is written to be easy to play and easy to listen to. They all have familiar tunes, sound full, have easy ranges and involve nothing more complicated than an eight note. The object is to produce music and not to display technique. The harmonies, lines and logical counterpoints make these arrangements play well with modest technique. Markings are at minimum to keep things simple.

String Bass and Piano must be used to make these arrangements work. The optional acoustic guitar (NOT ELECTRIC) will help the "rhythm section". Electric bass could be substituted. There is a 3rd Violin part that is really a treble clef viola part if you have no viola players, or to bolster what you have

Which method of viewing music should I use?

Score Exchange has two methods to display previews of music: seView which uses regular html and javascipt and the Scorch plug-in from Avid which needs to be downloaded and installed onto your computer. Both have advantages and disadvantages:

seView, is the most compatible option. You should be able to view music on all modern web browsers including most mobile devices. Even if your device does not support javascript you should still be able to preview at least page one of the music.

You do not need to install any additional software to use seView.

Scorch is a free plug-in from Avid for displaying and printing music. It can also play the music that you're seeing. As modern web browsers are updated, Scorch is no longer compatible with many browsers. Scorch has never been compatible with mobile devices and some web browsers on Mac computers.

If your web browser does not install Scorch automatically, you can click here to download and install scorch manually.
